Wet Dreams

So I had a series of what I would call 'Wet Dreams' last night. I believe it's due to the fact that school has started and the stress is mounting. A new year at school usually brings on more rules, regulations and things that just don't work. My unconscious is helping me do a brain dump at night to clear my head.

My wet dreams were about water - water - water everywhere. The car backed up into water and we got stuck. Who was driving? Not I said the passenger.
We were driving down a road alongside a body of water and the road was flooded and I was afraid the car would stall or be washed away in the flood. Who was driving? Not I said the dreamer.

Then, I was in the back seat of the truck and it was raining horses and cows - I roll down the truck window because water had seeped inside the truck. Who was driving? Not I said the back seat driver.

And then in that very instant I wake up and it's thundering and lightning and raining elephants and dinosaurs. Is there a connection to the wet dreams?
I try to interpret my dreams and I see myself in the passenger seat having very little control over the situation. Am I a victim? Do I just want a handsome attentive chauffeur? Perhaps I want to be a backseat observer? Whatever!!!

Life goes on and the dream dumps clear my mind to start a new day fresh and full of inspiration. Delusion, disgruntles and despair have all been washed away by the wet dreams.

Blue Heaven

I don't know why I expect life to be fair, an easy ride and smooth sailing. But it isn't. I keep waiting for a day without issues, heartache and total calmness. It eludes me. So I search for my own little piece of the pie somewhere inside myself and move on.

The news is beyond depressing and I sit by and watch as our wonderful earth is destroyed by greed and stupidity. I view the creatures that are dripping with oil and wonder - why do we let this happen? I try to be responsible - but others take no responsibility for there actions or in actions. Is the bottom line just money?

Newspapers add to the doom and gloom of the world. A focus of positiveness is hard to find in the reading material. So here I sit typing away my grievances and it makes me feel a little better or at least points me in the right direction.

And then there is the ever present family dilemmas. Oh - for a reprieve.

Today I am happy because.....
1. I got a real cute haircut last night and hubby thinks it's sexy.
2. No school today or for the next two months.
3. The Internet is no longer down.

I have so much to be happy about that my list is almost endless. If only the bad stuff would fade away with that last school bus pulling away from school with a boatload of students. HA!!!

The Blue Heaven appears right before my eyes. And I drift away to a place that is a combination of tranquility and craziness.

Catholic Girls

Last night we attended a fund raiser at a Catholic School and it sure brought back memories of my school years. Uniforms, saddle shoes and a sense of security.

What really struck me last night was the politeness of the students. They acted like responsible, considerate and happy teenagers. What a great experience. If only we could all pass on this joy to the rest of the world.

Three things I am thankfor for....make that four

1. a wonderful hubby....
2. great kids....
3. peace and contentment inside myself....
4. good friends....
